All aluminum
Aluminum has many advantages over other materials for horse and stock trailers. It’s much lighter than steel. So it’s easier to pull and gives you better gas mileage. Pound for pound, aluminum is far stronger than steel. That's why so many large over-the-road trailers are all built of aluminum.
Aluminum is resistant to salt and harsh climates, while steel trailers deteriorate faster in such conditions. So aluminum trailers have a longer lifespan and retain their new look far longer than steel.
As a result, lenders are more apt to offer longer term financing for aluminum trailers than steel trailers. Some banks may even finance your trailer for 15 years or more, depending on the model. Ask your dealer about loan information.
Durability and longer life
To ensure your Exiss trailer will perform superbly year after year, we build it with heavy-duty components and techniques borrowed from the semi trailer industry. For example, we include the same type of doors, aluminum extrusion, Huck bolt fasteners, steel upper coupler construction and roof attaching techniques used in semitrailers. For extra security, we use tamper-resistant bolts that are used in cars and trucks. Plus, we use automotive-style, plug-in wire harnesses.
Easy to tow
Exiss trailers are engineered to keep your animals safe and your ride smooth and easy. Every trailer comes with lightweight, full-aluminum construction for easier, more fuel-efficient towing. The rounded front end caps and smooth exterior walls with recessed windows (on most models) provide less wind resistance and a quieter ride with less stress on your animals. We also included a rubber docking bumper to prevent rear-end damage. Rubber torsion axles cushion the ride, and electric brakes on all wheels provide sure, even braking.

Logic dictates that superior quality Exiss aluminum trailers should be premium priced. However, through construction efficiencies, we have found ways to keep our trailers surprisingly affordable — without compromising quality.
